As part of our premium festive collection, this hand-block print has been designed keeping in mind Rajput, Mughal & Persian architecture. it's our festive take on the age-old technique of hand-block printing inspired by the floral art on many of our forts and palaces, showcasing the traditional as well as geometrical renditions of their carved patterns. We were also inspired by the beautiful 'baghs' or gardens and tried depicting them in the form of prints. This saree was handwoven by Babu in Bengal, then hand-block printed by Ghulam and finished by Jagjeevan. This saree took about 6 days for weaving, printing and finishing. A regal green handwoven tussar silk saree in azo-free dyes with full body hand-block printed jaal Mughal garden design in gold and dull gold zari borders. Very easy to drape and has a good fall. The pallu is also adorned with gold zari stripes throughout. It comes with a running plain green blouse piece with the same dull gold zari borders.
