Ceasefire’s Wet Chemical Based Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems are designed exclusively for commercial kitchen environments considering the associated risks of fire. These commercial kitchen fire extinguishing systems knock down flames and bring a tremendous amount of cooling effect, eliminating the chances of re-ignition.

This Automatic System comes equipped with a highly advanced detection module consisting of heat sensing tube based detection that offers far superior and uniform detection than conventional fire suppression systems.

Ceasefire’s Wet chemical-based Kitchen Suppression System relies on the powerful extinguishing properties of a foam agent that is developed with an optimised biological tolerance. This is possible as the agent is 90% water and 10% foam-based chemical. The 99% biodegradable extinguishing agent of a wet-chemical-based kitchen suppression system forms a foam blanket on top of the fire, thereby eliminating entry of oxygen and killing fire instantly. At the same time it contains 90% water and hence has a tremendous cooling effect that ensures there is no re-ignition of fire. As the agent is a wet chemical – foam, there is no flooding-related collateral damage; moreover, the agent residue can be used as a cleaning medium for the cooktops and equipment.

This kitchen hood suppression system too comes with the advanced fire detection technology based on the Heat Sensing Tube. This tube gives complete protection to the entire length of the kitchen hood compared to the conventional kitchen fire suppression systems. The detection device, activation nozzles and the agent cylinders are all carefully tucked inside so that the components of the system blend in the current scheme of things in the area of application, without clashing with the décor of the kitchen.

How the system works

Ceasefire's Residential Kitchen fire fighting range operates automatically in the event of fire. This removes the risk of a person to fight the fire or even worse fight the fire incorrectly. The system detects fire through its pneumatic heat sensing tube (HST) spread through the length of the hood. The tube helps in the automatic detection and activation of the suppression system.

On coming in contact with fire, the HST ruptures at a predetermined temperature, creating a pressure differential in the system valves, and activating the system. On coming in contact with fire the Watermist converts into steam. Steam blocks the oxygen supply and brings the temperature to below combustion levels thereby, extinguishing the fire. Being a clean and green extinguishing agent there is minimal post-fire damage; either to the expensive kitchen equipment or food items.

The system is adept in handling all kinds of kitchen fires like fires arising due to deep frying, shallow frying, baking, grilling or roasting et al.
