The Opus 88 Koloro Fountain pen is a specific model of fountain pen manufactured by Opus 88, a well-known Taiwanese pen brand. The "Koloro" line of fountain pens is known for its unique design, quality craftsmanship, and smooth writing experience.

The transparent material of pen body shows the filling mechanism as well as the ink level. Opus 88 Koloro is equipped by a #5 steel nib and fills ink via an eyedropper mechanism. Opus 88 eyedropper filling system has a large ink capacity and a valve to open and close the ink flow. Open the valve when you need to write for long sessions and close it when you want to carry the fountain pen in your bag (or for example on flight!).
To fill, Unscrew the barrel of the pen from the grip section. Take an eyedropper and fill it with your preferred ink. Slowly drop the ink into the barrel of the pen until it is about 3/4 full. Be careful not to overfill the pen, as this can cause leaks. Screw the barrel back onto the grip section, making sure it is tightened securely. Hold the pen nib down and turn the filling knob at the end of the barrel counterclockwise to release the air inside.
Turn the knob back clockwise to fill the pen with ink. Continue turning the knob clockwise until it stops, indicating that the pen is full. Wipe any excess ink off the nib and feed with a cloth or tissue. Screw the cap back onto the pen and start writing!
