About the craft and fabric

Kotpad handloom fabric is the first item from Odisha that received the Geographical Indication of India tag in 2005
The fabric yarns tend to be little coarse and are a perfect pick for summers and winters
The buttis are woven using extra weft weaving technique and reflect typical tribal designs such as fish, crab, butterfly, pigeon, duck, boat, hand fan, temple and many more
