About the product

Enchanting scenes from the Indian forest. Deer, Elephants, Lions, and peacocks, woven into never-ending vines in beautiful jaal patterns. Stories from the hunts of yore. Shikargah literally means hunting ground from Shikar (hunt) & gah (ground). The red and white I chose for this design is a shoutout to my Bengali roots, for these are the colours of purity and celebration. These are the colours I have grown up with through every celebration, be it the red banarasi saree of my wedding, the deep red alta on my feet, the white and red (laal-paar) saree I wore on my first Sindoor-Khela after I got married. These colours are me.
