BACKSTORY OF THIS STRAP:

The Car Nicobar Air Force Station was built by the Japanese during the Japanese occupation of the Northern Nicobar islands. After WWII, the British used the station frequently for refueling missions, until the IAF took over in 1956. The station was devastated during the Indian Ocean Tsunami of 2004, only to be reconstructed and brought back to operation in just over three months from the incident. Our Nicobar Blue strap pays tribute to this IAF Station.
