Description

Vermiculite comprises a group of hydrated, laminar magnesium-aluminum-iron resembling mica. They are secondary minerals, typically altered biotite, iron-rich phlogopite or other micas or clay-like minerals that are themselves sometimes alteration products of amphibole, chlorite, olivine and pyroxene.

Uses
